We are touched and thrilled to invite you to the opening of the exhibition 'Haunted' by Marwan Hamdan on Friday 11. April, 5 – 8 PM. The festive opening will be in the presence of the artist. 'Haunted' is on until 11. May 2025*.
Filmmaker and artist Marwan Hamdan’s practice revolves around exploring documents, mainly images and recordings, of Beirut’s political and social modern history, with a special focus
on religion, mythology, belief and power systems.
❤️ Marwan Hamdan is the namesake of artist-run practice space Marwan: a dedication to a departed friend, our sincerest wink-in-action to kinship and camaraderie. ❤️
'Haunted' is an exhibition with films by Marwan Hamdan, a text by Agata Cieślak, and objects made as a collaboration between Marwan Hamdan and Tim Mathijsen.
